The center is led by Dr. Shlomi Barak, Director of the Fertility and IVF Unit at Assuta University Hospital in Ashdod. A specialist in obstetrics, gynecology, and fertility, Dr. Barak holds super-specialty expertise in andrology, male fertility, and microsurgery. He is known for his personalized approach, combining creative problem-solving with the latest medical technologies.

For nine years, Dr. Barak led a fertility clinic within Melbourne IVF, one of Australia’s largest and most successful IVF centers. In addition to his clinical expertise, he is actively engaged in clinical and basic research, has published dozens of articles in leading medical journals, and authored book chapters in the field of male fertility. He is also recognized as one of the few gynecologists worldwide who specializes in micro-TESE surgery for men with non-obstructive azoospermia.
